About the Role

The Cloud Architect will design, deploy, and optimize secure cloud environments that support modern application delivery, high availability, and business-critical operations.

This role involves working across AWS architecture, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, IAM, networking, API performance, testing, and data orchestration to support scalable enterprise systems.

Your Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, understand, and map business requirements into gap analysis.
  • Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab to accelerate software delivery cycles.
  • Design and deploy multi-region AWS architectures using VPCs, EC2, RDS, and EKS to support high availability.
  • Deploy Kubernetes clusters with Helm charts to enhance application scalability and reliability.
  • Implement RBAC, IAM policies, and network segmentation for secure cloud environments.
  • Create and execute test plans, perform system testing, and facilitate user acceptance testing.
  • Optimize REST APIs hosted on AWS API Gateway to improve application performance.
  • Orchestrate data pipelines with Apache Airflow for business-critical processes.
  • Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure cloud solutions meet business and security requirements.

Requirements and Skills

  • Master's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Experience designing and deploying AWS cloud architectures.
  • Experience with VPCs, EC2, RDS, EKS, IAM, RBAC, and network segmentation.
  • Experience developing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab.
  • Experience deploying Kubernetes clusters and Helm charts.
  • Experience optimizing REST APIs hosted on AWS API Gateway.
  • Experience with Apache Airflow for data pipeline orchestration.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security, scalability, high availability, and performance optimization.
  • Work location: Monroe Township, NJ and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.
